ABOUT - Yen-ching lin

Born in Taiwan, Yen-Ching Lin studied at the Taipei National University of the Arts and the London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS) where she completed the Postgraduate Diploma program (Edge05- Postgraduate Dance Company) and then obtained an MA in Contemporary Dance.

Yen-Ching has worked with choreographers such as Maresa von Stockert, Charles Linehan, Jonathan Lunn, Jan de Schynkel, and Didy Veldman. She has danced for Hofesh Shechter Company and Bern Ballet, under the direction of Stijn Celis, before joining Akram Khan Company in 2010 as a performer and rehearsal director. She also teaches workshops and restages repertoire for Akram Khan Company. She Join Clod Ensemble in 2018. And BalletLORENT in 2019.

Yen-Ching is interested in exploring various art forms and collaborating with different Artists: Virtual Reality (VR) film WHILST by AΦE, The Waldorf Project: Chapter Three / FUTURO - experimental, immersive food experience, by Sean Rogg & AΦE.

Yen-Ching joined Theo Adams Company in 2017. She also works as an independent Artist/Performer and is developing her own research and creative practices in Movement, Photography and Video.
